The Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival was founded in 2020 and has set itself the goal of performing opera seria from the period of origin of its main venue, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Margravial Opera House Bayreuth. In particular, rarely performed works are presented, interpreted by the world’s leading soloists and ensembles with their conductors of Baroque music.
