Gala Dinner

When Margravine Wilhelmine arrived in Bayreuth in January 1732, she was less than impressed by the conditions she found there – least of all by the ‘poor food’ she was served. In the years that followed, under her guidance, Bayreuth developed into an outstanding princely residence where magnificent celebrations and lavish banquets were held.

We also offer you the opportunity to dine in princely style in the Baroque manner. To round off an eventful concert evening with culinary delights, you can book an exquisite gala menu at Birken Castle.
