Harpsichordist and pianist Kateřina Ochmanová graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She has participated in numerous masterclasses, including those led by the renowned pianist Angela Hewitt, a specialist in the interpretation of the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. In addition, she spent a year of study at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden in the class of Arkadi Zenzipér.

She has received several awards for piano accompaniment, including prizes at the International Antonín Dvořák Singing Competition, the International Singing Competition Olomouc and the International Jan Vychytil Cello Competition.

Since 2015 she has been teaching piano and chamber music at the Pardubice Conservatory, where she also works as an accompanist for string instruments. As a soloist she has performed with ensembles and orchestras such as the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic, the Janáček Chamber Orchestra, the Prague Chamber Soloists, the Podkrkonoší Symphony Orchestra and the Turnov Orchestra Association.

Kateřina Ochmanová is also a founding member of the Quasi Trio (David Šimeček, clarinet; Judita Škodová, cello). The ensemble performs regularly on Czech concert stages and has also appeared as a soloist ensemble with orchestras including the Prague Philharmonia and the Vinohrady Symphony Orchestra.
