Friedrichsforum – Grand Hall
The central part of the new Friedrichsforum is a former riding hall of the margraves, located on Jean Paul Platz at the corner of Friedrichstraße and Ludwigstraße. The sandstone building was constructed in 1747/48 by court architect Joseph Saint-Pierre and was used as a theatre in the late 18th century and later as an assembly hall. After nine years of renovation, the former Stadthalle Bayreuth is now a modern, multifunctional venue with a high quality of stay.
