Nadi Gogoulou, born in 1988, is a dance artist, a dancer, performer and dancemaker with a video-ing practice. She studied dance and economics in Athens, and holds a Master in New Performative Practices by the Stockholm University of the Arts. She has been awarded the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship by ARTWORKS (2021).
She has worked as a dancer and performer with Greek choreographers (Christos Papadopoulos, Artemis Lampiri, Maria Koliopoulou, Medie Mega, Ochi Pezoume, Dance Connection and more), in dance and site-specific performances in International Festivals in Greece and abroad.
She creates projects of her own (B.A.W.L., The cooking-with-Nadi Show, sHow.me, The move, On the spot, Down Fall), as well as she has directed short films (#handstand, damn) which have been screened in international film festivals in Greece, Cyprus and Belgium.
In addition she has worked as a choreographer in a number of theater productions in Greece, with Thanos Papakonstantinou, Marios Panagiotou, Katerina Giannopoulou, 4Frontal, and in staged Opera productions with direction of Thanos Papakonstantinou and conduction by George Petrou (Iphigénie), Andys Skordis and Dimitris Maramis (Stixiomeni).
She is on a European tour with Christos Papadopoulos’s Elvedon since 2015 and Ion since 2018. She also gives classes of improvisation based on her way of movement (Join the Fun).
