Bruno de Sá steps in for Julia Lezhneva with the programme Delirio d’Amore

Dear guests attending Julia Lezhneva’s concert in Bayreuth
on 7 September at the Markgräfliches Opernhaus,

Julia Lezhneva has cancelled not only her concert in Bayreuth next Monday but her entire tour due to a sore throat. As a regular feature of our festival, we shall miss her this year. We wish her a speedy recovery!

Fortunately, another stalwart of our festival, the soprano Bruno de Sà, has spontaneously agreed to put together a special programme in honour of his esteemed colleague. Bruno will perform the programme Delirio d’Amore with the Wroclaw Baroque Orchestra, conducted by Pedro Beriso. You can look forward to arias by Handel, Hasse, Pergolesi and others, as well as selected orchestral pieces. It promises to be a magnificent concert.

Despite this necessary change to the line-up, we would be delighted if you were to attend this concert.

Of course, you are also welcome to return your tickets. To do so, please forward the email containing the tickets sent to you, with the subject line “Cancellation 7 September”, to ticket@bayreuthbaroque.de, or send us your order number along with the seat details. You can also return the tickets directly at the box office on 7 September until 7.30 pm. If you purchased your ticket from a ticket outlet, please contact them directly. The deadline for returns is, in all cases, 7 September at 7.30 pm CEST. Refunds will be made via the same method used for payment.
