Thibault Noally is concertmaster of the orchestra Les Musiciens du Prince under the direction of Cecilia Bartoli and was the concertmaster of Les Musiciens du Louvre under Marc Minkowski for over 15 years. He regularly performs with renowned singers such as Cecilia Bartoli, Anne Sofie von Otter, Philippe Jaroussky, Vivica Genaux and Julia Lezhneva, and appears as a soloist on the most prestigious stages and festivals.
In 2014 he founded the ensemble Les Accents, dedicated to the vocal and instrumental repertoires of the 17th and 18th centuries. In residence at the Beaune Festival until 2018, the ensemble focuses on recreations and rediscoveries: the world premiere of Porpora’s oratorio Il trionfo della Divina Giustizia (2015), a new reconstruction of Vivaldi’s Tamerlano (2016), Alessandro Scarlatti’s Mitridate Eupatore (2017) and Handel’s Rodrigo (2018), also given at the Theater an der Wien in December 2019.
At the Montpellier Opera in 2020, Thibault Noally conducted a new production of Handel’s Il trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno as well as Molière/Lully’s Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme in Jérôme Deschamps’ production.
During the 2023/24 season, he conducted Mitridate Eupatore at the Auditorium du Louvre and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Handel’s Rinaldo at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid and the Palau de la Música in Barcelona. He also performed alongside Cecilia Bartoli at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, the Royal Opera of Versailles, and the Vienna Staatsoper. He participated to the Froville Festival, the Paris Festival, the Hardelot Festival, the Beaune Festival, the Musikfest Bremen, the Rencontres musicales de Vézelay and the Rocamadour Festival.
In the 2024/25 season, he featured with Les Accents at the Salle Cortot and Salle Gaveau in Paris, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, the Avignon Opera, and at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, conducting Bach’s St Matthew Passion with Les Ambassadeurs orchestra.
In the 2025/26 season he appeared in concerts with les Accents in Tours, Pornic, Neuilly sur Seine festivals, at Oratoire du Louvre and Musée des Invalides in Paris. He conducted Vivaldi’s Tamerlano at the Paris Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Madrid Auditorio and Budapest Müpa. He also conduced St Matthew Passion with Les Ambassadeurs orchestra at the Theatre des Champs-Élysées and Tourcoing Theatre and Händel Orlando in Krakow with Capella Cracoviensis.
Thibault Noally plays a Jakobus Stainer instrument dating from 1653.
He is Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
