In the 2023/24 season, her first after her studies and opera studio, the young German soprano succeeded in establishing herself as a great promise for the future. The concerts Mahler 8 at the Munich State Opera and Die Jakobsleiter at the Berlin Philharmonie, both under Kirill Petrenko, as well as Carmina Burana with the Munich Bach Choir under Johanna Soller at the Isarphilharmonie set standards and were particularly well received by the critics. She made her debut as the Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte) at the Berlin State Opera, sang this role at the Munich State Opera and was Max in Nikolaus Habjan’s production of Wo die wilden Kerle wohnen at the Vienna Music Theater. Jasmin Delfs made her debut as Blonde in Strehler’s historic production of Die Entführung aus dem Serail at La Scala, Milano, as Poppea (L’incoronazione di Poppea) in Toulon and sang Najade in the first performance of Ariadne auf Naxos at Teatro La Fenice Venezia.

Born in Eutin, she took singing lessons at an early age and studied at the Lübeck University of Music with Manuela Uhl. From 2021 to 2023, she was a member of the International Opera Studio of the Munich State Opera, where she has already sung roles such as Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), Najade and Vespina (L’infedeltà delusa).

In 2022, she was part of the Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project, during which she sang Queen of the Night at the Haus für Mozart (Lydia Steier/Joanna Mallwitz) and  1. Blumenmädchen in Parsifal under Daniel Barenboim. She was a guest at the Vienna State Opera (Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte für Kinder), Staatstheater Darmstadt, Isarphilharmonie Munich, Berlin Philharmonie and Laeiszhalle Hamburg.

From the 2024/25 season, she will be a member of the ensemble at the Semperoper Dresden, where she can be seen in new productions of Die Liebe zu den drei Orangen, Das Kind und die Zauberdinge and Saul. In addition, there are revivals of Die Zauberflöte (Queen of the Night), as well as her role debuts as Marzelline (Fidelio) and as Adele (Die Fledermaus).
