Bayreuth Baroque Live

The festival got off to a brilliant start on 7 September with the new production of Alessandro nell’Indie. We are very happy about our enthusiastic audience and the positive coverage.

We offer introductory talks by our dramaturge Dr. David Treffinger (duration approx. 20 minutes) for every date in the Margravial Opera House: right next door in the Iwalewa House of the University of Bayreuth (Wölfelstr. 2), 90 minutes before the start in each case.

Our partner Bayerischer Rundfunk will broadcast Julia Lezhneva live on 17 September and Griselda live on 18 September on BR Klassik radio and also other concerts time-delayed on radio, TV and as a stream – details here.

Arte.tv broadcasts Alessandro nell’Indie from 11.09. 3 pm and as a replay for 12 months as well as further concerts for 90 days – Max Emanuel Cencic’s Senesino concert live on 11.9. at 7.30 pm.
