GALA-LUNCH
Your Hosts, the Margraves
When Margravine Wilhelmine arrived in Bayreuth in 1732, she was not very impressed with the situation that greeted her – least of all by the “poor fare” placed before her. In the subsequent years, Bayreuth advanced under her guidance to become a superlative princely residence, hosting splendid feasts and correspondingly luxurious and opulent table culture.
You, too, can have the chance of dining in princely Baroque fashion and round off the colourful concert evening at the Margravial Opera House on 13 September with pleasures of the culinary sort by reserving an exquisite gala lunch at Schloss Colmdort.
